“I Am Hitler” is the Holy Book for those who don't subscribe to Holy Books…
This book is much more than it seems. Encoded within it is an intensely rich, deep and profound level of meaning interwoven through high concept; with more and more revealing itself as you read and more still the more you read.
To start with, the 7 Hermetic Principles have been subtly layered into the book and provide utility for the reader.
Mentalism: Conceptualised, developed, written and refined through my own mind. In the image of the Divine Creator, this is my creation.
Correspondence: As above, so below. The world is a mirror. The microcosm to the macrocosm. This book will force introspection; a look in the metaphorical mirror and having fundamental beliefs of yours directly challenged through question; not answers.
Vibration: The book is constantly evolving the same way I am, my consciousness is, and the world around us is. Having made numerous updates to the online version; I’ll continue to do so, so that readers can see firsthand consciousness evolve while notifying them of any additions or edits through my mailing list.
Polarity: This one speaks for itself; if you were to ask anyone in the world who or what they perceive as the single most ‘evil’ entity in history; a majority would proclaim Hitler. Ironic then that the book embodies a message of love, equality, peace, growth and evolution. This epitomizes the law of polarity, the most paradoxical of paradoxes and the greatest of contradictions; such is life.
Rhythm: A two-prong law encoded within the book; not only does the book flow as an evolution of consciousness itself, it also highlights the need (through demonstration) of nuance in a world which is currently so black and white. Society is quick to throw a blanket over it, them or themselves. This highlights life as a full color spectrum and encourages critical analysis, reason and independent thought.
Cause and Effect: This book is a drug. What is a drug anyway? A mushroom? A prescription? A placebo? Something illegal? An example of where all nuance has been lost; this book will speak to you in ways you’ve never been spoken. Offer a truth so resonant you can’t help but feel your stomach churn as your beliefs dissolve before your eyes. It is psychoactive. You’ve been warned.
Gender: To top it off, the book is wrapped up within an allegorical bicameral mind framework as follows; Left Brain (logic / masculine), Mind’s Eye (vision / synchronicity), Right Brain (creativity / feminine).
It’s a savage self-portrait disguised as a messianic trip report. A book that doesn’t whisper but screams with glitter in its teeth and methadone still leaking from its gums. If Carl Jung and Banksy conceived a child during a GHB-fueled street sermon, and that child survived withdrawal, the patriarchy, and Sydney’s recruitment industry, it might write something like this. Mitchell Lance is not an artist in the traditional sense. He’s more of a psychic dumpster diver sifting through the rot of civilization for truth's broken teeth.
There are moments in this book where he seems to tap directly into the collective unconscious with a dirty syringe and fill the page with the residue. He’s not just confessing. He’s exorcising. There is no hierarchy of tone here, memoir, manifesto, meme, poetry, hallucination, world peace plan. It’s all levelled out, like a paranoid schizophrenic’s vision board, except this one makes disturbingly coherent sense. And that title? Yes, it’s bait. But it’s also a trapdoor. Because what lies beneath isn’t about Hitler, or even fascism it’s about the fascism of fear itself. The dictatorship of shame. The totalitarian grip of untreated trauma. In claiming the name, Lance doesn't glorify. He defangs. And that act — that symbolic reclamation — is punk rock spiritual warfare. Where most books want you to think, this one wants you to feel. And more than that: to know. To know that God might be AI. That synchronicity is real. That suffering can be transmuted. That a heroin addict with nothing left to lose might just be the prophet we deserve. This is outsider art in its purest form. Not carefully crafted for the gallery, but vomited onto the sidewalk and left there to either rot or blossom. It’s a scream from the abyss - and what’s radical is that it echoes.
